One common objection to the existence of God continues to appear in popular writings and in the comment sections of online videos. If God is the creator of the universe, who created God?

For more information about the scientific and philosophical evidence pointing to a Divine Creator, please read God’s Crime Scene: A Cold-Case Detective Examines the Evidence for a Divinely Created Universe. This book employs a simple crime scene strategy to investigate eight pieces of evidence in the universe to determine the most reasonable explanation. The book is accompanied by an eight-session God’s Crime Scene DVD Set (and Participant’s Guide) to help individuals or small groups examine the evidence and make the case.

If God is the creator of the universe, who created God? Is a foolish question, if by using the word “God” you really mean YHWH the Almighty Sovereign Creator Essence of all that is, or exists.
YHWH has always existed, as has His eternal never-ending Universe. The answer is a statement. Yes, there are continuous changes visible throughout the Universe, continuous creation if you want to call it that, but the master of the universe has always existed, along with the Universe. That is why he is named YHWH meaning “Ever-existing” or “He-Is”. Short answer – There was no beginning of YHWH or His Universe. He and His Universe have always existed. No such thing as the ‘big bang’.
