If God created everything (all space, time, and matter), who created God? Why do we believe that God is an uncaused, first cause? Why do we believe we need such a cause in the first place? Detective Jimmy Wallace (J. Warner’s son) tackles these questions as part of his Incarnate Investigation Video Series.

For more information about the scientific and philosophical evidence pointing to a Divine Creator, please read God’s Crime Scene: A Cold-Case Detective Examines the Evidence for a Divinely Created Universe. This book employs a simple crime scene strategy to investigate eight pieces of evidence in the universe to determine the most reasonable explanation. The book is accompanied by an eight-session God’s Crime Scene DVD Set (and Participant’s Guide) to help individuals or small groups examine the evidence and make the case.
Jimmy Wallace is a detective who holds a BA in Psychology (from UCLA) and an MA in Theology - Applied Apologetics (from Colorado Christian University).

Good video with excellent discussion. Would you please consider with future videos eliminating the static visuals in the right and left margins? To me they are distracting and started to give me a headache. I had trouble watching until I figured out a way of covering them up

Love addressing this question, even if it is a repeat for some of us. Most importantly because we hearthis question so often. Our 10 year old has read Gods Crime Scene for kids and Case for kids and Cold-Case Christianity for Kids and is currently reading Forensic Faith for Kids and its this question that he comes back to time and time again. Great video great parallels. Most appreciative

A friend of mine reacted thus when I mentioned to him the problem of the Uncaused First Cause.
“Oh, I don´t have a problem with that: if God´s infinite He just creates Himself.”
