A Free Bible Insert to Say Thanks for a Great 2013!

2013 was a very special year for the Wallace family as we transitioned from two full-time careers in Law Enforcement to one full-time position (my son) and one part-time assignment (as I get ready for one final case). This was the first year I was able to devote myself completely to Christian Case Making and I am very thankful for the opportunity. It’s truly a team effort in the Wallace Household. My wife, Susie, helps with all my speaking engagements and continues to be a great editor for book projects (in addition to holding everything together). My sons and daughters often help me at speaking events, and my girls continue to upload all the contact information we get at our talks (so I can send free follow-up materials). All of us would like to thank all of you for your interest in our Cold Case approach to the Gospels by summarizing the first year and giving you a “Thank You” gift (of sorts). Here’s what 2013 looked like for us:

A New Book
Cold-Case Christianity published in January and has changed my life and daily routine ever since. Thanks to all of you who have purchased it and consider it to be a valuable resource. It has truly been a humbling experience for me.

A New Website
We launched ColdCaseChristianity.com and structured it to provide you with as many free resources as possible, organized to allow you quick access to resources of interest. We still host PleaseConvinceMe.com, but over the next year or so, all the materials will be consolidated at the new site and the old one will close. The number of “unique visits” to ColdCaseChristianity.com started relatively high and continued to increase every month. Visits have more than doubled since January.

Three Hundred New Articles
We worked hard to write and post on a daily basis to provide you with a catalog of articles answering the most difficult objections levelled at Christianity. These articles are now organized in our Writings Section by subject matter (in the menu bar) and are completely searchable. In addition, our articles and blog posts appear regularly at Stand to Reason, CrossExamined.com, The Christian Apologetics Alliance, Apologetics.com, Christianity.com, Conversant Life, Real Clear Apologetics, and Break Point.

Two Hundred Talks
I joined the Stand to Reason speaking team as an adjunct member this year, and between this partnership and requests related to the new book, I took fifty three trips (locally, nationally and in Canada), and gave over two hundred presentations. The best part, by far, was getting to meet so many of you in person. I feel like my family is growing!

Sixty Radio Interviews
I was blessed to have the opportunity to talk about the evidential case for the Bible on many national radio shows (including the Laura Ingraham Show). We’ve posted some of these on YouTube and hosted many more in our Cold Case Christianity Radio Show Podcast.

Dozens of Video and Television Appearances
I also had the chance to tape a number of television and internet video programs, including 100 Huntley Street, The One Minute Apologist, Harvest TV, HisChannel Live, and 700 Club (not yet posted). Our most recent cold-case investigation also appeared on Dateline.

Fifty-Two Podcasts
We continued to post podcasts weekly and changed the name of the podcast to match the new website and book. Our listener ship grew by over 30% after making the name change and we really appreciate those of you who listen weekly.

Fifty New Videos
We tried our best to capture as many of our speaking events, interviews and teaching videos as possible and organize them on YouTube so you can find them easily. We’ll also continue to feature one a week at ColdCaseChristianity.com.

Thanks again for making all this possible. As you know, I am a “tent making” Christian Case Maker (more on that with a series starting tomorrow) and consider myself to be a “One Dollar Apologist”. My career in Law Enforcement has given me the chance to chase my passion, but I never expected to have this kind of opportunity to share the Gospel and make the case for Christianity. I hope to be a good steward and I am so grateful for your interest and partnership as all of us become better Christian Case Makers. As a “Thank You,” I’ve created a free, downloadable Bible Insert visualizing the “Cumulative Case for the Reliability of the Gospel Eyewitness Accounts.” I hope it helps remind you of many of the things we talk about here at ColdCaseChristianity.com as it summarizes the information in my book. Thanks again for a great 2013!
