Are we “soulish” creatures? Is there any good reason to believe we are more than merely physical beings? How might we investigate our material nature to answer these questions? J. Warner joins Eric Hovind from Creation Today to talk about the evidence for the soul.

For more information about the scientific and philosophical evidence pointing to a Divine Creator, please read God’s Crime Scene: A Cold-Case Detective Examines the Evidence for a Divinely Created Universe. This book employs a simple crime scene strategy to investigate eight pieces of evidence in the universe to determine the most reasonable explanation. The book is accompanied by an eight-session God’s Crime Scene DVD Set (and Participant’s Guide) to help individuals or small groups examine the evidence and make the case.

How do you respectfully talk with Jehovah’s Witnesses regarding their beliefs? As a former JW I don’t know how to explain to them that the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society is not the ‘truth’. Jesus said that HE is the truth and that but for him there is no other. No other person, religion, or organization is the truth. HE is the “way, the truth, and the life”. Period. What about their beliefs that Michael the archangel was Jesus, that only144,000 go to Heaven, etc., etc. I have family who believe The New World Translation of the Bible is the most accurate translation. I can’t bring these things up with them, as they consider me to be an apostate. How can they be reached?
