In this re-posted podcast, J. Warner begins to examine the case for God’s existence from the Laws of Logic (the Transcendental Argument). Jim also responds to email concerning objections to the Anthropic Principle and talks about the sometimes ‘hidden’ nature of God as he interacts with his children today.

For more information about the scientific and philosophical evidence pointing to a Divine Creator, please read God’s Crime Scene: A Cold-Case Detective Examines the Evidence for a Divinely Created Universe. This book employs a simple crime scene strategy to investigate eight pieces of evidence in the universe to determine the most reasonable explanation. The book is accompanied by an eight-session God’s Crime Scene DVD Set (and Participant’s Guide) to help individuals or small groups examine the evidence and make the case.

    I have a question. Reading Proverbs 25:8, I realized that I need to become more of a detective on some matters. Is there a book that I can purchase which would train me in this way? Like a how to think like a detective for dummies? Who better to ask than a Homicide Detective!?!
    Thank you so much!

      Good question Marcella. I’d be real interested in a book like that too.

    There is a concept, for want of a short pithy theological name like Trinity or Rapture, that is hardly developed in any theology I have come in contact with I have to call “the Torah Law of two or three witnesses that establishes a matter in two corollaries.”

    In that the Bible is an archive of eyewitness testimony, this principle carries throughout the Old Testament and is found as a tying principle both testaments, even to the New Testament in governing interpretation of the scriptures, and it is even found on the lips of Jesus and the apostles, and when translated right, is found in 2 Peter 1:20 as the first corollary of that principle. I wish someone younger than eye with credibility would develop it fully and you will find he Bible credible more so than one would expect…and it is exactly what you do as a cold case detective to boot. And it even proves that God stopped special Miracles and Healing at the destruction of the temple in August 70 AD and has done away with the office of prophecy in the church, until both miracles and prophecy reappears after the end of the church age in the rapture. But God does not leave these without a continuing gift of credibility for the world to know that there is a supernatural element in reality, because introduced as a more excellent way, with the hint of these terminations to be early in the church, Paul the apostle leaves AGAPE or unconditional love as being the only way the world can KNOW that, again, a supernatural aspect is found in reality. It is when Jesus says in John 13:35 says, “In this shall ALL KNOW that YE ARE MY DISCIPLES in that YE HAVE LOVE (agape – unconditional love not found in non Christians which is an attribute of God) ONE TO ANOTHER. This is that Charity translated Charity in 1 Corinthians 13, introduced in chapter 12 as “a more excellent way.”

    Here is that schema of interpretation as Moses uses it in terms of justice that you may be familiar with in your cold case work.
    Eyewitness

    Deuteronomy 19:15–21 (KJV 1900)

    15 ONE witness shall NOT rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: [Corollary One found in our today’s doctrines of jurisprudence we hear spoken as “INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY.”]

    at the mouth of TWO witnesses, or at the mouth of THREE witnesses, SHALL the matter be established. [Corollary Two found in Article three Section three of our constitution in matters of two witnesses for treason]

    [Vigorous vetting of eyewitnesses significant if you consider it ends in some very familiar words “eye for eye tooth for tooth.” and it is backed by one of the world wide’s strongest ethical statement – THOU SHALT NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS]

    16 If a false witness rise up against any man to testify against him that which is wrong;
    17 Then both the men, between whom the controversy is, shall stand before the LORD, before the priests and the judges, which shall be in those days;
    18 And the judges shall make diligent inquisition: and, behold, if the witness be a false witness, and hath testified falsely against his brother;
    19 Then shall ye do unto him, as he had thought to have done unto his brother: so shalt thou put the evil away from among you.
    20 And those which remain shall hear, and fear, and shall henceforth commit no more any such evil among you.
    21 And thine eye shall not pity; but life shall go for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.

    This was Moses talking of it in terms of justice but it is found even in the New Testament in terms of establishing truth and doctrine.

    I wish I could show you how it is involved in demonstrating the terminations of special miracles and healing as the marvelous sign gifts to the Jews prophesied to last but forty years of 360 day years, beginning with Jesus’ ministry and ending at the destruction of the temple. The prophecy is Micah 7:15 with the mysterious HIM that God shows MARVELOUS things, where the mysterious HIM is revealed in John 5:19-20 as Jesus Himself. I suspect the forty years begins in March of 31 AD at the dearth of John the Baptist about the time of John 5 when Jesus refers to John the Baptist as “WAS” a shining light.

    But the WOW will be when I show how the law of two or three witnesses will determine the termination of the office of prophecy for the church age in giving the resolution of the the missing substantive in the ellipsis found in 1 Corinthians 13:10, when we find out how Paul is timid to use the ellipsis without supplying the missing substantive somewhere in the context of his letters and in this case the Neuter word demanded by the article and adjective is he neuter word TO MARTURION or THE TESTIMONY found in 1 Corinthians 1:6 and 2:1, and it is just NOT the testimony but the HOLY SPIRIT endowed eyewitness and prophet occupying the very last course in two or three witnesses giving testimony in the church, because ek merous, or IN PART is found in chapter 12:27 as MEMBER of the church IN PARTICULAR (ek merous). This was John the Apostle in about 90-95 AD giving his last eyewitness testimony (gospel of John) and his last prophecy (Revelation), who uses in his writings nearly fifty percent of every Greek word indicating testimony and to fulfill Paul’s contention of 1 Cor. 13:13, that AGAPE is greater than faith and hope, when he has Jesus speak of agape as the only way anyone knows who indeed is a disciple of JESUS in John 13:35…and also gives in John that the apostles had a HOLY SPIRIT ENHANCED remembrance as witnesses of what Jesus said and did. This is definitely in your bailiwick brother Wallace. Please, I am 77 years old, and my son has turned against the testimony of scripture, and develop this and in hopes my son will return from his version of atheism. I have been alerting all the atheists I have debated on Face Book to your site after I purchased your case for Christianity and for Jesus being a point of interest, and your explanation of eyewitness is exactly what I found in my mapping surface features by using adjacent pairs of aerial photographs under a stereometer when I place the image of one of a pair over that of a common image seen in the other photo. 1 Corinthians 13:12 using the eyes as an analogy of a need for a complete body of prophecy, the one eye being the verb form of gnosis, and with both eyes, being the the verb form of epignosis, or KNOWLEDGE UPON KNOWLEDGE exactly giving the stereoscopic perception when I place the image of one photo over that of the other photo. I know I am rambling so take this as a personal email to you brother Wallace and a plea for you to consider it, to develop it as a theology for the increased credibility of the Bible being an archive of eyewitness that makes it a book of science, an Anglicized Latin Word for translating the Greek word GNOSIS, itself having an English translation directly meaning KNOWLEDGE, and eyewitness is the basic unit of KNOWLEDGE. You don’t have to have this presented on your comment section I used to give you this note.
