If God is all-knowing, does He control or determine everything we will do in the future (and everything we are doing today)? Does God truly allow us the freedom to choose Him?

For more information about the scientific and philosophical evidence pointing to a Divine Creator, please read God’s Crime Scene: A Cold-Case Detective Examines the Evidence for a Divinely Created Universe. This book employs a simple crime scene strategy to investigate eight pieces of evidence in the universe to determine the most reasonable explanation. The book is accompanied by an eight-session God’s Crime Scene DVD Set (and Participant’s Guide) to help individuals or small groups examine the evidence and make the case.

Free Will is not a New Testament teaching. The term only appears in the O.T. regarding God allowing Israelites to give an offering to Him above the offerings required by the Mosaic Law. Paul taught that the unbeliever’s will belonged to Satan until regenerated. Then man’s will belongs to the Holy Spirit. Our choices are to serve Satan or the Holy Spirit. God wrote the names of Christ’s bride in a book before time began. He is Sovereign. And yet “whosoever will may come” John 3:16.
These parallel truths only meet in the mind of God. Like the converging parallel tracks meet visually in the distance.
