In this blast from the past, Jim talks about the problem of natural evil as an obstacle to faith in an all-powerful and all-loving God. Also, Jim discusses the importance of prioritizing issues as we approach the General Election, and responds to a listener email.

For more information about the scientific and philosophical evidence pointing to a Divine Creator, please read God’s Crime Scene: A Cold-Case Detective Examines the Evidence for a Divinely Created Universe. This book employs a simple crime scene strategy to investigate eight pieces of evidence in the universe to determine the most reasonable explanation. The book is accompanied by an eight-session God’s Crime Scene DVD Set(and Participant’s Guide) to help individuals or small groups examine the evidence and make the case.

    Mr Wallace,
    Does not YHWH use the simple to confound the wise ?? Creation can be shown in a simple mathematical equation:
    0 = -1 + 1
    All matter / anti-matter / dark matter was created at the same instant. Good and evil were created at the same instant, they are two sides of the same ‘coin’. There can be no choice, if there is not the choice to choose good or evil.
